Ghostline ruleIf the report is stale, the weather is worse than expected, or the crew is not ready, choose another route or another day.
Four checks before the first pull
Run these in order. A green trail report does not override a closure, bad weather, a mechanical concern, or a crew that is not ready.

Use the report, then verify the mountain
Never infer access from an old track, a quiet social feed, or the absence of a closure sign. When sources conflict, follow the most conservative current authority.
