Know the plan before the track

Every Ghostline departure has a named lead, sweep, pace, regroup rule, and weather call. If the crew cannot repeat the plan, the ride has not started.

Before departure

Six things every rider should know

  1. Where and when the muster happens
  2. Who is leading and sweeping
  3. Expected pace and technical level
  4. Required machine range and gear
  5. Turnaround and regroup rules
  6. Weather or condition cancellation trigger

Ghostline ride rule

No one rides outside the group

The lead sets the line. The sweep closes it. If you lose either one, stop at the next safe junction.

Pack the machine

Build your pre-ride list

Use the rider desk for range, layers, communication, recovery gear, and route sharing.

Ride

Steward

Practice

Build the mechanical and field skills winter demands.

Decide

Bring your voice to the first-Thursday club meeting.

Next muster / January 17
